Iotas : the currency Abwid uses

At its core, your Abwid takes a truncated version of you which people then chat with. We do this by asking you to fill in Iotas about yourself, which Abwid then uses to answer queries about you asked by guests. Let’s say you introduce an Iota for movies. So, if say a query regarding your favorite movies is asked to your Abwid, it should be able to reply with the information contained in the Iota for movies. In the future, Iotas will also be managed using third party connections. E.g. movies can be filled using IMDB or Trakt.tv integrations.

How effective of a personal assistant Abwid is to you depends on what iotas of yourself you’ve provided. And while we’ve tried to provide iotas that capture as much of you as possible, we certainly don’t have the full set yet, but we hope with time it becomes a really big set.

So, here’s how you can help us. Given below is a form. Enter in a short description of an Iota you think would be useful for you, and, preferably, a set of 10–20 queries which would trigger that Iota. What a query means here is simply something a guest would ask your Abwid which would trigger the iota. Taking the earlier example for the Iota for movies, this could be triggered by asking “What are your favourite movies”, “What movies do you like” etc.

Ideally, an iota that you’d require would be something repetitive that you’re asked on a daily basis, that you want your Abwid to automate away.

So what iotas do you think we’d need to put in, let us know in the form below:
